Born in 1976 in Rustington, West Sussex, John spent most of his life around the south of England. He first picked up a camera at the age of 6 - a Kodak instamatic - but it wasn't until college that he became really interested in photogpraphy, borrowing his Fathers Mamiya SLR to shoot anything that would stay still long enough, and some things that wouldn't.

In 2001 he attended evening classes in Photography, and made great use of the darkroom there to develop shots he'd taken at studio shoots during the week, where he first started working with models.

Now John run's his own fully equipped photographic studio, shooting in digital. He has been internationally published in advertising, glossy magazines and by fashion houses.

John also runs a studio photography club for local photographers who do not have regular access to their own studios, or to professional models.

Currently John is working on a fine art nude coffee-table book.
